I am not an advocate for protein bars as I always think you can get your protein from food however, that said there’s been a lot of hype about Quest Bars from the US. They are gluten-free with no added sugar, high in fibre and depending on which flavour you try, they are under 200 calories and they provide 20g of protein. In the US and Europe demand is surpassing supply and although  they are currently unavailable in Australia, I found a website where you can have them delivered straight to your door.

Fot the purpose of research I ordered a box of the vanilla almond crunch bars and I have to say, they are very tasty and filling. This particular bar was full of nutty flavour and I quite enjoyed the very chewy texture. Again, I am not an advocate for meal replacement/protein bars but Quest Bars are all the rage in the fitness world so you might like to research them for yourself. They come in a variety of flavours like chocolate brownie,  chocolate peanut butter, coconut cashew and more. A box of $12 is approximately $27.
